Diwali Celebrations at Apex International School
Dipawali or Diwali the festival of light symbolizes the victory of righteousness and the lifting of spiritual darkness – the victory of good over evil and the glory of light A special assembly was organised at Apex International School in which students of classes IV to VII enacted a role play to give a message on, how to celebrate safe and eco – friendly Diwali.
Celebration started with Rangoli Making ,diya and Thali decoration. Students were very excited to decorate diyas. Students worshipped Lord Ganesha and Goddess Laxmi ji . Teachers explained the ill-effects of bursting crackers .Teachers inspire them to celebrate eco friendly Diwali.Various competitions like diya decoration, diwali card and tattoo making were also organised in school campus. Students participated with full enthusiasm.
Principal Mrs. Anku Mangwana gave a message on eco – friendly diwali and told students to use diyas instead of lights, make rangoli using natural colours instead of the chemical ones, burn less crackers, donate sweets and food items to the unprivileged children, gift plants to your friends and relatives and plant saplings on diwali.
