Visit to Saras Dairy Farm of Students of Apex International School

Apex International School has always been enthusiastic in taking initiatives to strengthen teaching learning process. Field Trips are important to help bridge the gap between education and hands-on experience. Every day in the morning, packaged milk being delivered to households is a common sight. To give the students an insight into what goes into providing pure, healthy milk every morning, the students of Class – VIII were taken to the Saras Dairy Plant, Jaipur . Today students learned about the trends going in the largest milk industry of Rajasthan and tried to learn the work culture in the plant.

The visit was an ideal combination of academic knowledge and practical experience. Students have learned about the detailed process of milk packaging and its usage in various forms as well as gained knowledge about biggest plant in Denmark. Students had the opportunity to see new things and learn about them in a more unstructured way. This visit helped students interact with what they are learning. The experience goes beyond reading about a concept; students were able to see it, participate in it physically.
